Care

"My availability gives God opportunity to do a miracle through me." (Ken Houts) Learning to be available for God to use you to meet the needs of our members and visitors is the focus fo Care Ministry.
Connectors
With Kim Wampler
A vital part of our Welcome Center ministry. Connectors are available before both Worship Services on Sunday mornings to escort visitors and members to the nursery, Promiseland, Foundations Classes, or any other area of the church building as needed.
Greeters
With Kathleen Miller
Ministering to our visitors and members through a smile, kind word, and offering a Worship Folder is what a Greeter is all about. Greeters serve before Worship Services and immediately following the conclusion of the Worship Services. A Greeter Guidebook is available and ministry training is offered several times a year.
Ushers
With Kim Wampler
Assisting with seating, collecting the offering, and welcoming attenders to worship are the primary responsibilities of the Ushers. Ushers are also available for special events throughout the year. Usher Guidebooks are available along with ministry training opportunities several times a year.
Welcome Center
With Kim Wampler
The Welcome Center Ministers meet the needs of our visitors and members by answering their questions and providing information about our church. The Welcome Centers play an important part in distributing information for all ministries. Lay ministers are needed before and after all Worship Services. Welcome Center Guidebooks are available along with ministry training opportunities several times a year.
Parking Crew
With Kim Wampler
The Parking Crew is available in the parking lot before and/or after Worship Services to assist in any way necessary. In the case of inclement weather, umbrellas are available for the Parking Crew to escort visitors and members to/from their vehicles.
Prayer Partners
With Kim Wampler
Prayer Partners are active members of RLCC who intercede on the behalf of another. At different times throughout the year, Prayer Partners are available on Sunday mornings during the Worship Service to pray with those who need prayer.
Prayer Team
With Missy Alaniz & Kathleen Miller
Once a week the Prayer Team meets to intercede for our church family, the community, the nation and the world. Prayer requests are gathered from prayer cards, prayer@reallifecc.org, Wednesday Night Small Groups, Home Teams, and other requests through the church office. The Prayer Team is open to anyone who wishes to come and offer their prayers of intercession.
Impact Team
With Kim Wampler
Through intentional relationship-building ministry, the Impact Team reaches out to our visitors and unconnected members to encourage them to begin or refresh their personal relationship with Jesus. Impact Team members are available on Sunday mornings to meet first time attenders, deliver a plate of cookies during the week, and invite them to explore what the RLCC family is all about. Impact Team members have a strong personal relationship with Jesus and actively pursue relationships with the first time attenders and unconnected members of RLCC.
Home care & Hospital
With Pastor Schmidt and Bob Burton
Some members of our church family are homebound or live in a nursing home. Throughout the year, members and visitors are hospitalized for various surgeries or physician care. Our church family needs us to show up and visit with them, pray with them, and let them know we love them. We also deliver videos every week to those who are unable to attend Sunday Worship.
