Kids Quiz Club

During the school year we offer a Children's Bible Study for 1st - 6th graders, Quiz Kids Club, on Wednesday nights, 6:00-8 p.m. in the upstairs classrooms. This year's study is in the Book of Genesis.

Each week the boys and girls are divided into grade-level groups and will participate in the following zones:
The Power Zone - This is our time to study the Bible passage for this week's lesson.
The Challenge Zone -The children are quizzed over the material in the lesson - usually in game format.
The Book Zone -The childrens homework lesson is checked and the new lesson is assigned.
The Physical Zone -The children play a more active review game.
The Video Zone - The children see the scripture being studied by way of "The Visual Bible".
The Memory Zone -The children work on their memory verse for the week.

We also participate in practice quizzes complete with ribbons and trophies during the year and then compete with other churches in our area at Invitational Quizzes. However, competition is ALWAYS optional. Quiz Kids are never required to go to a quiz meet. But, they are REWARDED for going!

There are 2 levels of quizzing, the Red Level and Blue Level. Red Level is designed for our 1st - 3rd grade boys and girls and Blue Level is for the 4th - 6th grade. When completing their weekly assignments, Red Level quizzers are only required to do the Red Level Reach for the Stars questions and the Red Level activity. Blue Level quizzers are expected to do ALL the Reach for the Stars questions and the Blue Level activity. Third graders are also given the option of quizzing Blue Level if they so choose.
