3-5 Year olds
Each Sunday our church ministers to approximately 20-25 children in this age group at each of our services. Positions that are available include teaching and helping positions. Helpers serve snacks, pass out supplies, and assist the teacher and children as necessary.
Children's church
With Ruth Ann Schmidt
Sunday mornings, 10:45 - 12:00, kindergarten - 6th grade boys and girls gather in the gym for Real Life Kids Church. Volunteers are needed to prepare and serve food from around the world; others can get involved in crafts or games that come from the world area we are studying. This is a 1-6 week commitment.
Cubby Bears
Wednesday evenings from 7-8 p.m., children who are 3 years of age – Kindergarten may attend Cubby Bears, where they learn stories from the Bible, create crafts, and eat snacks.
Kids on a Mission

Children ages Kindergarten to 5th grade meet Monday evenings from 6:30 – 8 p.m. to assist with any serving opportunities that kids can do, and the list of what they can do seems to be almost limitless. By serving, these children have an impact on our church, our community, and our world, and they come to know at an early age that serving others is important. Positions are available to help these children help others.
Movers & Groovers
This ministry is for kids in Kindergarten – 5th grade who enjoy singing, acting, and/or using puppets and meets each Wednesday, September – May, from 7-8 p.m. Movers & Groovers assistants are needed to listen to children read drama scripts and help to maintain crowd control.

Nursery

Children are special to God. Ministers are needed to provide care for our infants to age 2 in our age-divided nursery during the Sunday Worship Services. Nursery worker requirements include: active member of RLCC and participation in worship for at least 6 months; complete an application process which includes a background check.
Promiseland
With Pastor Sandi Blastick
Our Sunday morning ministry for Kindergarten to 5th grade at 9:30, Promiseland is an interactive learning experience for children to understand how the Bible relates to their lives. Through drama skits, games, Small Group fellowship, and much more, children and their leaders grow closer to each other and to God. Volunteers are needed to facilitate and support these activities.
Quiz Kids Club

Each Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. September - May, 1st - 6th graders are encouraged to study God's word together in a high energy program. Quiz Kids workers take small groups of children through the Bible study from 6-6:40 and then the lesson is reinforced through a rotation where workers go over the book work, teach the memory verse, play a review game, or quiz the children over the lesson. Others serve as small group guides and help with attendance and rewards.
Super Book Olympics

Our summer Sundays during second service (10:45-12:00) are devoted to Super Book Olympics for our kindergarten - 6th graders. Volunteers are needed to coach teams of children as we study and compete, to be scorekeepers, and to help with set-up and tear down.
